Nim Li Punit & Rio Grande Canoeing

This tour takes you along the Southern Highway to Nim Li Punit, a medium sized site from the Maya Classic Period. It consists of structures surrounding three plazas, including several step-pyramids, the tallest being 12.2 meters high. You will visit the onsite museum with many of the stelae protected there from the Toledo rain. Enjoy a delicious lunch from Coleman’s Cafe before enjoying the live scenic view of the rainforest canoeing down from the Rio Grande River spring which flows into the small Kek’Chi Maya village of San Miguel.
