The Moho River is the second southern-most river in Belize. After an early morning start, your guide will take you road to the village of Santa Anna. From there you will kayak down stream on this spectacular jungle-lined river. The thick mangroves along the banks offer perfect hiding and nesting places for a variety of bird species. Your kayak will pass silently in front of and almost within arms reach of these beautiful birds. Be sure to keep an eye out for nesting herons hidden amongst the branches of the mangrove trees. But that is not all you may encounter. You may also see iguanas basking in the sun or taking in a quick dip in the river, and with little bit of luck you will come across Hickatee Turtles, crocodiles and rare river otters.
